After the protocol submission, the editorial team will check the information. The final protocol is published on the INPLASY website within 48h (DOI information + INPLASY number).

1 - Registration

INPLASY contains 24 mandatory items and 9 optional fields about the design and methodological approach of the planned systematic review. With the preparation of the INPLASY protocol the authors avoid future changes which may be associated with reporting biases.

2 - Login

Create a new INPLASY login account. You will be asked to fill in the blanks with the details for the account. After you have provided all requested information, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from INPLASY login to the e-mail account provided in the registration form.

3 - Protocol Submission

Once you have registered, you can log in and then you will be able to start the protocol registration. The easy INPLASY submission process allows you to register your systematic review protocol in less than 10 minutes.

4 - Publication fees - Protocol /update processing charges

The publication fee associated with registering a protocol on INPLASY.com is $20.00. Authors will be charged $9.00 to update your protocol. You can send us the modifications using this INPLASY form – CLICK HERE (PayPal) or CLICK HERE (Credit Card, Afterpay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay). Note that all $ pricing is USD.

5 - Editorial Process

The INPLASY platform operates a rigorous editorial review process to certify that the submitted content is eligible for registration on the platform. Our team will check your protocol, and in less than 48h it will be published. INPLASY records are not peer-reviewed or assessed for methodological quality. It is the responsibility of the authors only. The registration record on INPLASY does not constitute an endorsement of methods.
